Happy Holidays!
I love the vibe in this town during the holidays. With the palm trees wrapped in lights, the smell of the crisp, cool air and the fact that
everyone seems so nice! What a unique contrast to the beautiful green rye grass…welcome to winter in the desert!
The Valley Ho is decked out in its holiday finest, and there’s no shortage of parties and people having fun! December is always a special time
for us not only for the reasons mentioned above, but for the fact we
re-opened the hotel after a year-long rehabilitation on December 20th 2005. It’s hard to image seven years has passed, and I couldn’t be happier about the way the hotel has evolved.
Now to the important part…our all-Champagne Monday Night Chef’s Table in December is an established part of our culture, and we are
once again hosting two of the finest Champagne houses in France, Veuve Clicquot and Moet&Chandon. Belvedere will be providing the cocktails for the reception and dessert. Yes, I said reception, so feel
free to show up a bit early. Many of our guests have made this dinner
a yearly tradition, I hope you will too. Please mark Monday December 10th on your calendar and make your reservations soon!
ZuZu is always open on Christmas Day, offering our regular winter
menu along with special Christmas features including, lobster bisque, herb crusted prime rib, egg nog crème brulée and pumpkin
cheesecake. Need to get out of the house? We are open from 6 am
until late in the evening, so you can count on finding great food and a relaxing beverage.
ZuZu and the Lounge will be alive on New Year’s Eve with tunes from our favorite DJ, the esteemed Mr. P-Body, from 7 pm until 2 am. We
will ring in 2013 with a very appropriate “Not Ready to Say Goodnight” theme. Reserve a table in ZuZu and experience an unforgettable reservation-only midnight rooftop toast. It’s a perfect perch for checking out the firework shows all over the valley. Rooms are still available, but perhaps not for long. Scroll down to Holidays for menus, schedules and more details.
A sincere wish from all the staff here at HVH that I am so proud to work alongside, to all of you, our valued guests; the very best to you and
your loved ones for a healthy and prosperous 2013!
Seven years ago the Hotel Valley Ho was reborn. Seven years and
a lot has transpired. The best however is yet to come!
Cheers,
