Dear Friends of ZuZu,
Pour yourself a beverage; I believe a little celebrating is in order. I propose a toast to autumn in the desert, in all its magnificent glory. Here’s to the tender green of winter rye grass, to the blooming fall foliage, sunsets like flames dancing in the sky, to the cool breezes and crisp mornings.
And to dining alfresco…
Our Chef’s Table this month will feature the amazing wines of Raymond Vineyards. Embodying the spirit of “Old Napa Valley”,
the Raymond family worked side by side to build their winery from
the ground up. On the northern edge of the Rutherford District in the heart of Napa Valley, Raymond Vineyards’ pioneering estate has been a hallmark of the region since the early 1970’s. Totaling three hundred acres, the Raymond estate consists of three locations: the original 81-acre estate in Rutherford, ten acres in St. Helena, and
an additional 210 acres in Napa’s southern reaches in Jameson Canyon. These are food wines at their finest. I hope to see you on Monday, October 15th as we taste our way through the result of five generations of crafting distinguished Napa Valley wines.
Autumn marks the beginning of the local social season, and on October 7th, ZuZu has been invited to participate in “Dine Out with
the Chefs” at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts atrium. See “Plan Now” for more details. Team ZuZu will be there serving
up our Lobster and Crab Parfait with Mango Avocado Salsa.
Just a reminder; we have live music in the lounge from 7pm to 9:30pm, and now that the weather is so gorgeous we’ll be moving
it on the patio under the stars.
Enjoy this beautiful month. I know you are going to need a break
from the incessant election coverage and re-runs of Jersey Shore,
so get in here and have something good to eat…and drink. We’ve
got you covered.
Cheers!
